First appointment includes a health history, assessment and acupuncture treatment. Based on the client’s health problems, this session can take up to 2 hours. The next sessions up to an hour.

The amount of visits is determined by the client’s history, but usually once a week is enough until the symptoms are alleviated. Treatments can be spaced further apart as conditions improves.

Generally, there is no pain upon insertion of the needles. The needles are in for around 20 to 30 minutes which gives the body’s enough time to rebalance. 

Patients are usually in a very relaxed state and even fall asleep. Although most feel relief right after the treatment, the benefits peak between 48 and 72 hours afterwards.
